This End is a sonic explosion of melodic rapture and thrashing grit.

Unapologetically expressed with raw, thought-provoking lyrics and driven by heavy drums, hard-hitting bass and screaming guitar solos, the music of This End is a sonic explosion of melodic rapture and thrashing grit. Organized chaos.

This End jettisons an ordinary rock band and infuses 90’s heavy rock with metal and punk influences.

While the band’s musical prowess has wildly different musical backgrounds, their passion for music and insouciant spirit unites them.

For Johnnie Colter, the lead singer, primary lyricist and mastermind, this project is “an absolute exoneration of pain – an exorcism of [his] demons.” Influenced by Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Tool and Filter, Johnnie writes and performs because it helps him release everything". Johnnie’s drink of choice: Coors Lite.

That release “takes you on a journey, paints a beautiful picture, and makes you want to bang your head" says Louis Collins, the band’s lead guitarist. Born and raised in Bournemouth, Dorset, (UK), Louis’s turning point in his musical career was at the age of 23 when he made the move to Hollywood to pursue his dream of becoming a professional musician. He feels fortunate to have been able to tour all over the states and Europe with multiple bands, the most recent being This End. Louis’s drink of choice: Whiskey on the rocks.

For Ben Jordan, the band’s bass player, music has been a cornerstone of his life since the age of 13, when his mom bought him his first bass. Before that he had sung in bands, but he says picking up bass helped him “stretch his musical acumen”. Influenced by such bands as Bad Religion, Strung Out and Thrice, Ben thrives on the creative group dynamic of songwriting. Ben’s drink of choice: No less than 14 Miller Lites.

Having been raised in a musical family singing and playing 60’s rock, it was no surprise that Brook, This End’s drummer, received his first Tiger drum set at the age of 3. Since that time, he has expanded his musical repertoire to include pop, jazz and funk. For Brook, writing and recording with This End has been part of an unforgettable adventure. It’s an outlet for him to express himself through music and impact listeners, each in their own way. Brook’s drink of choice: first water, and then Stoli, in Dad’s footsteps.

Across the board, This End leaves audiences thunderstruck and spellbound.
